It's been a doozy of a week. And I've missed you! We have avoided sickness for such a long time that maybe I was taking good health for granted. I do apologize, Good Health. You will be treated with the deserving deference in the future. Pearl came down with a grueling cold and kindly shared with me. 'Tis the season for giving. I've had the same orange box of tissues for 2 years, and I finished it off in no time and then treated myself to a box buffet of "cool touch" and "lotion" tissues that were gone in a day and a half. So worth the extra money. The little bug put me behind on all sorts of plans, including my M week project (the link to come!), but that is coming along, in between concerts and recitals and school projects, as well as all the Christmas activities I'm trying to squeeze in. So. We will be a bit out of alphabetical order because I've given myself permission to let some things drop and get to the ones I don't want dropped....eventually. Why do we put so much pressure on ourselves at the holidays? I've handed the job of moving the elf to the two oldest non-Santa-believers and it's been fantastic. They love it and it's the only job they never forget. We have simplified gifts to: something to wear, something to read, and something fun because once that "something fun" has lost it's charm, we can all snuggle down and read our new books on Christmas day. And, of course, mama-made nightgowns. Maybe.
Meanwhile, Danielle of My Sparkle has her N project to share! She has some of the most adorable kids on the earth. They're cherubic. And Danielle is one of the few bloggers I have actually met in person and I adore her even more because we shared food and then fabric. We're pretty much sisters after that, right?
Go check out the rest of this adorableness!
great work continuing the "get danielle to sew and blog by asking her to be part of a series" campaign. ;) glad you're feeling better!
