Boston: Celebrating 12 years of US

My love took me with him on his latest business trip to celebrate 12 years of us.
Destination: Boston!
We have an affinity for pedestrian-friendly cities.
I watched a bit of Olympics on the plane.  Did you know archery was the most watched game on cable for this year's Olympics?  Could it have anything to do with Brave and Hunger Games?
This was our first Drummer-less getaway, just one night, but we packed it all in.
We had some fresh, green gazpacho, and a smorgasbord of cookies: cornmeal/lime, chocolate macaroon, double chocolate, homemade oreo.  Yum.  We could have had everything on the menu at Flour.
I love the middle-of-the-city gardens, those without a yard still dedicated to growing and nurturing a small garden plot.  A central, community "backyard".  Fun.
Also, how genius it this?  Kind of like redbox for the physically active, environmentally-conscious.  You rent a bike for the day and leave it at these bike stations, or ride the subway and grab a bike once you get out of the subway and ride the rest of the way.

"Up a turret"

We've never had a bad dish at Pho Hoa, and as usual, best avocado bubble shake.

Didn't eat at the Clover Food Lab, but only because we had just eaten.  Next time.

uninhibited

Who can resist sitting on the famous row of ducks?  I tried to wait for my turn, but I couldn't get the kids off.
Thank you, Boston.
Our time with you was lovely, as usual.
We're all set until next time.

  9. I love that last shot of the T station! This post makes me miss my years in Boston...or maybe it's because I was in my early 20s and carefree when I lived there. Either way, your post makes me remember all I love about that city!
