I once read about someone who collected shopping lists. I always thought that would make for a fantastic collection indeed, to see what others thought of as essential enough to write down, and the way in which they recorded said items: scratch piece of paper, old receipt, a pad of paper that actually says Grocery List, a napkin. Unfortunately, a collection made entirely of my lists wouldn't be interesting, as those are the only ones I ever come across. Recently I read a blog post of an invitation to post pictures of what is actually in your cart. I took a liking to the notion and clicked what I begin with in my shopping cart:
And, of course, it wouldn't be realistic if everyone was looking at the camera with a smile. Thank you, Pearl, for keeping me grounded.
what an adorable picture, a few years ago that was me and my sisters, with my chubby cherub of a baby brother up in the front!- some things are always the same :)

ReplyDeleteWhen my parents lived in Detroit for 2 years, no one would throw away my Mom's shopping list in her jacket pocket, because it made us all feel like she was closer to home.
