Dear Ann,

Your visit was way too short.  I was just getting warmed up when it was time for you to go.  I will miss Mary Deane's continuously streaming enthusiastic "HI!"s every time I turned my head in her direction.  I will miss the intelligent interrogation about life from Brendon.  I will miss your praise and flattery of our attempts at parenthood.  I will miss a fellow seamstress who also has a habit of making clothes out of upholstery fabric.  Love you.  Come back soon.  When it's a bit warmer.
