Olive, the other reindeer
Olive doesn't request a typical night-time song for me to sing to her as she snuggles down in bed. No, it's not a lullaby, nor a Primary song. She wants me to sing "Happy Birthday". Every single time. The funny thing is, her birthday was 7 months ago. That's how long this has been going on. Maybe she just likes hearing her name in the lyrics. (She also likes Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer because they sing "Olive, the other reindeer".) Whatever makes them happy, right?

ReplyDeleteThat is adorable! Katy, for some reason, I don't have your email. Could you email it to me today? Thanks
ReplyDeleteI loved this. I wish wish wish somehow we could get Lucy and Olive together soon.
ReplyDeleteYou know, Max likes Happy Birthday as a bedtime song too, and I've never quite been able to figure that out. Kids are so funny. Love all the pictures!
ReplyDeleteThe simple joys.We read, I cannot tell you how many of our books I have memorized because Amara or Luke has wanted it read over and over. And the funny thing is, they get so excited as if it were the first time reading it.
