I love the YMCA, and I don't use the term lightly. I know one shouldn't love inanimate objects, but I have to admit I do. The reason should be that it is a time to move my body and get the old heart pumping...but it isn't. Of course that is certainly a benefit, but what I LOVE is the showering and dressing solo. Is that strange? I haven't had that for almost 6 years now and it's a simple pleasure that I have missed. Albeit, the YMCA is not the most luxurious place to powder one's nose with the slight scent of mildew and sweat, but I enjoy it nonetheless, flip flops in the shower and all.
What a great photo!! And those flip flops! Priceless. I'm going to have to get in on this spa-like experience at our local YMCA.
